As promised, the September Extra puzzle is now available on our website. The grid has been crafted by regular design team Calluna and ornamented with clues by new 3D setter Amoeba, whose puzzles have been published in both the Independent and the Telegraph.
Solutions can be entered online as usual and a prize winner will be drawn from the virtual hat.
Correct entries for the September Extra puzzle will also count toward the total of 12 needed to enter the 2024 3D Crosswords World Championship tie-break competition at the end of the year. So if you've missed a month, this could be your chance to stay in the running.
There will be no Hints & Tips for this puzzle but you will have an extra week to crack it. Deadline for entries is 31 October.
